The Pacaya volcanoe in Antigua (Guatemala) is still active
and woke up a bit more than that a few years ago (97 or 98 maybe). Day
trips take you up to 500 meters far from the top where you can feel the
warmth under your feet... Unforgettable, in spite of warnings because of
attacks (american tourists were killed there in 1991).
